The Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka
is the civil aviation regulatory agency which was established in 2002 in terms of
the Civil Aviation Authority Act No.34 of 2002. This agency is empowered to practice
its regulatory functions by the Civil Aviation Act No.14 of 2010. It has more
autonomy and flexibility as per the recommendation of ICAO for greater efficiency
and effectiveness to accomplish its obligatory duties.

'Air Lanka Catering Services'. In 1998, the company became the fully owned
subsidiary of SriLankan Airlines and was rebranded in 2000 as 'SriLankan Catering'.
SriLankan Catering serves almost all airlines that operate to Colombo's
Bandaranaike International Airport. Fabulous taste of SriLankan Catering is renowned
in the field of air transportation. It also provides an array of services for the
airport's lounges and restaurants, including catering, laundry and restaurant
